It all started over 12 years ago with Shady's Burgers & BrewHaHa, a neighborhood favorite known for its crave-worthy burgers, chicken tenders, tacos, and fresh salads and for being deeply involved in the communities we serve. From sponsoring school fundraisers to supporting local causes, Shady's has always been about more than great food — it's about being a good neighbor. That same commitment to quality and community has earned Shady's a loyal following — and the title of "Best Burger in Dallas" by the Dallas Observer for the past four years. Today, there are two Shady's locations serving up those award-winning burgers, with a third set to open in summer 2026.

From our signature salmon and comforting chicken-fried chicken to house-made pastas and craft cocktails by the fire, The Fifth quickly became a neighborhood go-to for both casual lunches and special nights out. Eight years ago, the team expanded with The Fifth Fireside Patio & Bar, offering an upscale dining experience while keeping the same welcoming, local feel. In addition to great food, The Fifth became a favorite local spot for the establishment's incredible, year-round fireside patios that are a unique feature among restaurants in the area. With the addition of La Sombra Cantina and the experienced Fernando's Tex-Mex catering team, the formation of High Five Hospitality was the natural next step. Our new hospitality group brings together the best of all the restaurant concepts under one roof, allowing us to share our passion for great food and genuine hospitality on a larger scale.

Our catering team now includes the chefs, catering director, and staff from Fernando's, ensuring that many of their beloved recipes and flavors continue to be enjoyed across North Texas. From casual backyard cookouts to elegant weddings, we bring restaurant-quality food and service to every event.
